As I walked down Esplanadi,
A feathered friend caught my eye.
Perched atop a statue tall,
A bird sang its sweet lullaby.
The sun shone bright, the air so clear,
A gentle breeze kissed my face.
But it was the bird's melodic cheer,
That made my heart take flight with grace.
I stopped to listen, to take it in,
The sound that filled the air.
And in that moment, amidst the din,
I found a peace beyond compare.
